Valley Pearl Oysters was established in 2017 by two friends who want people from all over to love oysters as much as they do. Jeff Noye and Damien Enman dreamed about opening Valley Pearl for many years and finally decided to do what they love OYSTERS.
Jeff has been the chairman of the Tyne Valley Oyster Festival for over 14 years, as well as the driving force behind the Canadian Oyster Shucking Championship. He was also a shucking member of the Canadian team that holds the Guinness World Record for most oysters shucked in one hour- an attempt that he spearheaded. Jeff is also the 2016 PEI Oyster Shucking Champion. Jeff loves shucking, eating, and talking oysters. He lives in the heart of Tyne Valley with his better half, Carrie, their two children, Hunter and Erin, and their four-legged friends, Jewel and Buttkiss.
Damien has oysters in his blood. He grew up the son of an oyster fisherman and spent his childhood on the water. Damien knows oysters - how to grow them, shuck them, and serve them. He also is involved with the Tyne Valley Oyster Festival as a member of the organizing committee. Damien has recently entered the world of competitive oyster shucking. Damien and his wife Tamra have two little girls, Sarah and Emily, and two fury family members, Porter and Ginger.
When these two aren't working, you can find them playing music together, fishing, enjoying a cold one, and eating some delicious Valley Pearl Oysters.
