In March of 1994 the O’Leary Community Health Foundation Inc was formed when the Community Hospital Board was replaced by West Prince Health. With the many and constant changes in the way health care services were being provided the people felt they needed to be more than just a fund raising body for Community Hospital.
The mandate of the Foundation is:
To promote, develop and encourage activities having as an objective the advancement of Community Health.
To build upon, develop and improve community health activities and facilities
To use any and all income or assets which from time to time accrue to the company, whether through operation, donation or otherwise for the objectives stated herein and none other.
