Fresh seafood is common throughout the region, with mussels, clams, crab, lobster, and oysters on offer at many local kitchens. In fact, it is the popularity of the Malpeque Oyster, and the importance of the industry to the area, that earned us the title “Canadian Oyster Coast”. Island produce is also available at roadside stands or farmers’ markets ensuring delicious flavours are always available.
