West Prince Berry Co-op was established in 1964 as a producer co-op with a mandate to develop the wild blueberry industry in western Prince County of Prince Edward Island. It currently owns 175 acres of wild blueberry land and provides custom services to the 30 members and 5 non-members on its 900 acres in the local area.
The Co-op is governed by a board of nine directors that direct the operations of the company. The Co-op has three distinct business lines: Farming, Custom Work, and Member Services.
