The Tyne Valley Tea Cafe servse healthy light lunches, sourced locally whenever possible. All their breads are made in house, and they do have gluten free options. They serve panini-grilled and fresh sandwiches. They have a selection of one or two home-made “Soups of the Moment” every day. Their salads are lovingly crafted from greens, flowers and herbs grown in their own little garden, or sourced from their neighbours, The Offers, Dr’s Inn Organic Farm.
They also have an extensive selection of loose teas that they serve in the restaurant, and sell by the gram. They also have a hand-drawn Pavoni Espresso machine and quite enjoy testing their barista skills. Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, Latte or Mocha, anyone? PS their iced Mochas are super.
